Mindy SterlingIn the “12 Dogs of Christmas”, Mindy Sterling plays “Mrs. Walsh”, the stern headmistress of Doverville’s only school, who turns out to have a soft spot for dogs. The Florida-raised Sterling, the daughter of a nightclub comic and a dancer, moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Primarily interested in comedy, Sterling worked with various improvisation companies before finally hooking-up with one of the most famous of the country’s improv groups, “The Groundlings”. Now, more than 15 years later, Sterling continues to work with “The Groundlings” as well as being one of their instructors. With dozens of television and movie credits, Sterling went from being one of those faces you thought you knew to instantly recognizable with her role of “Frau Farbissina” in the first Austin Powers movie, a role she reprised in the two sequels. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son. # # # # Press Contact: Ken Kragen / Amanda Martin Kragen & Company Phone: (310) 854-4400 KenKragen@aol.com/AmandaKragen@aol.com |
